Couples therapy
Intervention model
This service is inspired by the same principles outlined in the field of Clinical Psychology and is presented in a more accessible format in the book Love at the Second Attempt, where we explain the main causes and consequences of relationship conflicts and how to address them in an adaptive way.
A distinctive feature of our approach is that the therapy is not aimed at repairing the relationship, but rather at helping each partner decide —as maturely as possible— what is best for their future.
That is why some couples seek our services in order to separate amicably and end up staying together, while others, whose initial goal was to improve the relationship, end up separating. In both cases, we consider that the therapy has achieved its objectives, because when someone makes a thoughtful decision about what is best for them, they are always in a better position to manage their romantic life —whether that means overcoming a crisis or ending the relationship.
