Heraclitus once said, “No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.” That’s exactly how I feel about El arte de enamorar. Since I first published the book in 1998, it has gone through so many editions that I’ve had the opportunity to revise it multiple times. The changes and additions made to the original text are so substantial that I can confidently say The New Art of Falling in Love is not only a new book — it’s also a better one.

Decía Heráclito que “Ningún hombre puede cruzar el mismo río dos veces, porque ni el hombre ni el agua serán los mismos”. Eso es lo que me ocurre a mí con El arte de enamorar. Desde que publiqué el libro en 1998 ha tenido tantas ediciones que me ha permitido someterlo a varias revisiones. Han sido tan sustanciales las sucesivas aportaciones al texto original que me permito afirmar que El nuevo arte de enamorar no solo es un libro nuevo sino también un libro mejor.
